BHOBU NATIONAL MEETS
A general meeting of BHOBU NATIONAL was held on the 9th of July 2005 during the Vacation. The meeting which was well attended according to the National President of BHOBU; Capt.(Rtd) Komla Amedewonu focused on very important issues.Top on the discussion was the falling academic performance back in Bishop Herman, our ritual poor performance at the National Science and Math Quiz, the bad state of administration under the current Head Master Mr.T.K Dzavor and above all the state of the National Association.

On poor performance,BHOBUs said our ranking annually in the SSSCE table is indeed very bad. Even though they were quick to admit that there are some problems associated with the mode of ranking by WAEC, more still needs to be done on our side in terms of serious academic work to improve our performance on that table.BHOBUs were not happy about the poor quality of grades of students that administration back in school admits and the ever increasing student population at an astronomical rate coupled with the indiscipline on the side of students.
It was agreed overwhelming that the school was not helping match in shaping the squad they present at the National Science and Math Quiz. The students did most of the work on their own which reflected their low performance.

Concerning the school's administration, BHOBUs stated categorically that the situation is indeed very bad. Most said that the Head Master Mr.T K. Dzavor was to be blamed since his administration style raises a lot of questions. Majority present said the best was to relief him of his duties for someone else since his stay was long over due.

Matters that arose from the meeting was scheduled to be discussed more extensively for immediate action at the next general meeting of of the association on the 27th of August 2005 at the Holy Spirit Cathedral,Adabraka Accra. General elections for the association is hoped to be held that day.

Information reaching the news deck pointing to statements from National Executives that it would revive it's website would soon come to reality. This was raised at it's general meeting on the 9th of July 2005.The website had gone offline due to it's low patronage by BHOBUs and the increasing cost of keeping it running. It is hoped that, this time, more BHOBUs would visit the site, the President said. We would keep you informed on progress and possibly the website address when it starts running again.
