This website is the creation and assert of BHOBU-POGA Inter-Tertiary Network. BHOBU-POGA Inter-Tertiary Network is the coming together of past students from two schools namely Bishop Herman College (BIHECO) in Kpando and Our Ladies of Apostle Secondary School (OLA) in Ho who are currently in the tertiary institutions across the country (Ghana). This Union was formed to foster and build the willingness in individuals (past students) to extend helping hands to their former schools. Also to forge closer ties between past student in tertiary institutions. Some of the activities we organize include back to school where the Union members go to the two schools and give talk on University entrance requirements, health issues, motivational talks and give donations as well. As a form of change, we plan to institute an education competition programme yearly between the two schools where the winning school takes home a trophy and cash. Plans are far advanced for the take of of this competition. The Union has an annual Congress which is held either on a selected tertiary campuses or on the campuses of the two schools (BIHECO & OLA). This Congress brings together individuals from the various tertiary campuses together and brain storm on the challenges confronting the Union and the former schools and how to overcome them. We also attend programmes organized by either BHOBU Union (Union of only Bihecan) or OLA since Bhobu-Poga is a subset of these two Union. Finally, like any other organization or grouping, funding is needed for the materialization of our visions. We therefore, appeal to all philanthropists, be it a Bhobu or a Poga or anybody who is interested and is touched by the good works of this Union to come to our aid.
